Oat crunch biscuits
Ingredients
- 125 g salted butter
- 75 g demerara sugar
- 125 g porridge oats
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°c / gas 5. Line a shallow 13cm x 18cm baking tin with baking paper and set aside.
- Over a low heat, melt the butter in a saucepan, without colouring.
- In a large bowl, mix together the porridge and sugar and pour the melted butter into the bowl, mix together until all the ingredients are well blended.
- Press in to the baking tin and bake for 15mins or until pale and golden in colour.
- Remove from the oven and cut into chunks. Leave to cool in the tin so they become lovely and crispy, before turning out.
