Coleslaw
You can’t beat a homemade coleslaw. The crunchy vegetables coated in a creamy dressing make the perfect side for any BBQ, picnic, or burger. There’s nothing quite like a bowl of crisp cabbage and sweet carrots tossed in a smooth, tangy dressing—it instantly brightens up a meal.
Quick to make and endlessly versatile, it works just as well piled onto sandwiches as it does alongside grilled meats, summer salads, or a classic BBQ spread. Once you’ve made it from scratch, you’ll never look at the shop‑bought version the same way again.
What goes well alongside this side dish?
Coleslaw goes brilliantly alongside BBQ meats, burgers, hot dogs, BBQ pulled pork, grilled chicken, pulled pork, baked potatoes, sandwiches, or even a simple picnic spread. It also adds a fresh crunch to tacos, wraps, and summer salads.
