Cheese and herb twists
Ingredients
- oil for greasing
- 25 g cheddar cheese, grated
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried basil
- pinch of black pepper
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 290 g packet pizza dough mix
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180c. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets with oil. Mix together the cheese, oregano, basil and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Beat the egg and set aside.
- Make up the dough according to the packet instructions (no need to let it rise). Add the cheese and herbs and knead together. Roll out into a 1cm thick square and cut into strips.
- Twist them to form breadsticks. Brush the twists with egg. Put on the baking sheets and bake for 15-20mins or until golden brown.
- Serve warm or cold with your favourite dips.
