Add the pasta to a pan of boiling salted water and cook as per packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan add the olive oil, onions and garlic and gently cook until the onions become soft.
Add the chipotle chilli flakes and stir for another minute.
Add the passata and oregano and cook on a low heat for another 5mins. Add the sugar, salt and pepper and stir together.
Add the pasta to combine and then serve.
