Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil then add the potatoes for around 10mins and drain well.
Add the potatoes to a baking tray, cover with olive oil and cook in the oven for 45mins, turning over half way through until golden and crispy.
Remove the potatoes from the oven and add the garlic, tossing the potatoes around so they are coated all over in the garlic and oil. Season with the crushed salt and serve hot.
